We were shocked to learn of the sudden death on Sunday of ERIC WILSON. Eric was well known in the local circles having played with distinction for Rhu Amateurs, Dumbarton Academy FPs and Bishopton. After playing he supported his son Kenny’s long playing career at the Vale and was an able assistant to current manager Brian Brown when he previously managed the Under 21 side.
I know that Eric was extremely proud when Kenny himself joined the Accies, firstly as a player and then manager. Never a stranger to Millburn when the Accies weren’t playing, Eric will be missed by everyone that knew him. Everyone at Millburn sends our sincere condolences to Eric’s wife Trisha, his son Kenny and daughter Shaunice and all his beloved grandchildren.
