Shona Robison and King Charles, who went to Gordonstoun School.

The use of mobile phones has been highlighted as one of the most frequent and disruptive behaviours in schools.
Lisa Kerr, headteacher of Gordonstoun, the alma mater of King Charles has stated:“Teenagers rarely thank adults for placing boundaries, but we will never forgive ourselves if we don’t act now.”
Tory MSP Sue Webber pleaded: “The evidence is there. For the sake of our children’s futures and our teachers’ well-being, will the Deputy First Minister commit to taking immediate steps to ban and restrict mobile phone use in our schools as soon as possible?
The Deputy First Minister Shona Robison, decided not to get too hung up on that question however.
She said: “As I understand it, councils are already able to do that, but we will make sure that Sue Webber gets a full response to her question.
“She raises a reasonable point, which is that mobile phones can be disruptive. In her statement yesterday, the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills set out many of the issues regarding behaviour in our schools.
“We will make sure that she writes to Sue Webber with further details on the issue.”
Maybe it would be an even better idea to give her a ring?
