Signed deal in August 2023. It’s now March 2024. Once manuscript goes to publishers the publishing process itself takes anything up to 6 months!
They are in a mad rush to get this out to try and recoup their £300 000 advance.
At £28 a pop I doubt the publishers expect to have a lot of sales. Just under 11 000. Which is nothing.
Blair sold 100 000 of The Journey in its first five days. 350 000 total sales at £12.59.
