Hugh Jordan took these pictures of brilliant portraits currently being exhibited at the Ulster Museum. One of them has a big Dumbarton connection in that it is of Robert Bontine Cunningham Graham of Dumbarton where streets in Brucehill were named after him. Ardoch Crescent, Bontine Avenue and Graham Road. Don Roberto lived for part of his life in Argentina. Later he was founder of both the Scottish Labour Party and the Scottish National Party. The family house and estate was at Ardoch on the road to Cardross and Helensburgh.
Some photographs of Don Roberto and the monument that was dedicated to his name in Monument Park in Cardross Road until it was vandalised and had to be moved away to Gartmore, up country near Drymen.
