Police Scotland Argyll & West Dunbartonshire
The last weekend of the break is here and we have additional patrols within the National Park, more so around Balloch, Luss and West Loch Lomond ensuring increased visitor numbers and residents can enjoy the area and facilities.
Our BTP colleagues have advised that no alcohol will be permitted on the rail network and they also have increased numbers of officers to ensure compliance, likewise you cannot consume alcohol in a public place within the general National Park area.
Police and National Park staff will be on patrol in the local area and are more than happy to assist when required. Police Scotland hope you enjoy the holidays safely
