| We are so excited to announce our first author events for 2024, with a brand-new strand called The Front List. In partnership with Underbelly, these events will take place in the iconic McEwan Hall, just a short walk from our main site at Edinburgh Futures Institute, throughout August. Known for her hit memoir, Everything I Know About Love – beloved journalist, author, and podcaster, Dolly Alderton, will join us to discuss her achingly funny second novel Good Material. |

Booker Prize-winning, Salman Rushdie, will appear live from his home in New York to offer searing insight into his new, unforgettable memoir Knife – a reflection on his attempted assassination in 2022. |

A special event for secondary school pupils as part of the Baillie Gifford Schools Programme, where Crossan will be discussing her historical-fiction novel Where the Heart Should Be. |

An exclusive pre-release event, Matt Haig, author of the international sensation, The Midnight Library, and mental health activist, will speak about his upcoming novel The Life Impossible. |
