POLITICS: Humza Yousaf’s £52,000 golden goodbye for 13 months of failure

Dumbarton man Patrick Harvie and his co-minister Lorna Slater will receive £17,000 each.

Taxpayers will have to fork out half of the outgoing SNP leader’s salary with Yousaf in line for a huge resettlement grant

The Scottish Daily Express is reporting that Humza Yousaf‘s 13 months as first minister don’t seem so unlucky after all, with the hapless MSP in line for a whopping £52,000 pay off at the taxpayer’s expense.
The SNP leader signalled his intention to resign on Monday after it became clear he would be unable to govern at Holyrood.
Humza Yousaf's Catch-22: The SNP CAN'T govern without the Scottish Greens
Politics is just a game for many of thse people. Those in the picture will receive around £100,000 between them and still retain their cushy seats in the Holyrood chamber.

We recently told how, combined with his MSPs salary, Mr Yousaf’s FM’s wage made him the highest paid elected politician in the UK. While whoever takes over will have to deal with an SNP civil war and a minority at Holyrood, they will certainly be well paid for the privilege.

COMMENTS: Rewarded for failure! Good Riddance!

He has handed in his notice solely to try and stop an election being called. We must not forget that most within the snp really believe the cow dung that is handed to them by their bosses. Whatever happens it cannot be looking good for the snp. Who in their right mind is going to invest in Scotland when it has no leader? If useless is staying on for now, no MAJOR decisions, except an election/leadership must be under taken by the snp. The sturgeon and Useless knew Inderef2 was going down the drain and were committed to punishing Scotland …..and lay the blame on Westminster. Will the snp wait until the sturgeon gets the agreed all clear and reinstate her as fm ?

FU

Harvie is back supporting the SNP means they will win the votes this week. But there must be one lot of the SNP not happy if the Greens are back in the frame.
