Roadworks will be undertaken on Greenhead Road, Dumbarton from 21st May 2024 for up to 5 days. There will be a Half Road Closure on Greenhead Rd for traffic turning in from the A82 (Stirling Road) North Bound and South Bound (for a distance of 40 metres or thereby) for BT to complete manhole repairs. Access to Emergency vehicles, properties & for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained, although delays are to be expected. Diversion route is Stirling Road, Dunbritton Road, Alclutha Avenue, Greenhead Road, End and vice versa. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Again? Do it at night. Have some common sense! Moira Kelly said: “Dunbritton Road needs speed measures put in place, only a mater of time before someone is killed. Drivers totally disrespect our streets as it is without this! They use Silverton as a ‘cut through’ at whatever speed they like. Will there be any monitoring by police?”
