Bike Register marking kits give your bike a unique QR code that, once registered on the Bike Register database, can be used to identify your bike if it is lost or stolen.
The QR stickers can be placed anywhere on your bike and are almost impossible to remove once they have bonded with the frame.
The Bike Register website allows users to access their account, and Police to check stolen bikes, on smart phones and tablets whilst on the go.
The site also enables members of the public to check second hand bikes to assist them in trying to avoid purchasing stolen goods.
Free Bike Register marking kits are available from all police stations in Argyll and West Dunbartonshire.
