Unfortunately, the Council’s own website got it wrong when it came to posting the result which it said was for 2019 and not 2024.
Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber

Re-elected for this constituency which includes Cardross, Helensburgh, Rhu and the Rosneath Peninsula was Brendan O’Hara – SNP, pictured right.

Well the SNP most certainly got the proverbial humping. No messing, the electorates oronouncement is clear.
Utterly out of touch with ordinary people in policies and delivery and now they are gone.
Good luck to Douglas McAllister. Scottish Labour will struggle. The UK Labour will struggle.Brexit is crippling the the econony, GDP is tanking, our export are tanking, sanctions are crippling too, the war effort is draining funds that could and, should be spent on domestic services.
Well Labour who took us out of the EU with the Tories, who are commited to the war in Ukraine make it better.
We’ve a lot to look forward to and let’s hope they deliver, or like Tony Blair will they take us to war.
