The inspiration for Elliott’s comes from over a decade of working in food, covering everything from food styling, cooking for TV and adverts, developing products for Jamie Oliver, launching a start-up into the supermarkets, writing (and now self-publishing!) my cookbooks.
This Studio space tucked behind The Meadows is an extension of my home and where I’ve built a beautiful community around simple home cooking and life in the kitchen. I’m absolutely delighted to be partnering with EIBF and welcoming such an incredible line-up of food writers this August.
I feel very lucky that we have such distinct seasons in the UK and it’s the produce, colours, textures and rituals that each season brings that keeps me returning to the kitchen.
Timing nicely with the Book Festival is my new cookbook, Midweek Recipes, which is out on 1 August. This is the first in a new series of books that I’m publishing independently each year under Elliott’s and I’ve written, tested and photographed the book here in my Studio. Throughout the Festival, I’ll be running Open Studio, so visitors can pop in, try some samples of the new recipes, and buy signed copies along with our range of ceramics, jams, and kitchenware. |
