Are you a registered nurse looking for a new role ?
The local health board, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, is hosting a recruitment event at the Glasgow Royal infirmary for all registered nurses.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 16 July, 2024 in the Clinical Skills Lab in the New Lister Building where current registered nurses can explore the wide range of career opportunities within the organisation.
At NHSGGC, we are excited about the future direction of our nursing and midwifery workforce through making Scotland’s national Nursing 2030 Vision a reality, setting out the vision for our priorities for personalised care, preparing nurses for future needs and delivering essential support.
As the largest single health organisation in the United Kingdom, and the largest employer within Scotland, we are proud that our workforce is extremely diverse – just like our patients.
Patricia Myers, Associate Chief Nurse at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, said: “This recruitment event is a great opportunity for registered nurses and midwives to engage with senior staff on the future of their career within NHSGGC.
“There will be opportunities to liaise with department leads and explore a range of opportunities with roles available across a variety of areas.
“The event allows us to provide information and answer any questions around potential opportunities that you may be interested in applying for.
“The Glasgow Royal Infirmary is committed to providing a high standard of patient-centred care while delivering a work environment that staff can thrive in and continually develop.
“If you are thinking about a new position, and would like to hear what career development opportunities we have, please come along to our event on Tuesday, 16 July between 12pm – 4pm.”
Can’t make it in person? No problem, we will schedule a Teams call with you at your preferred date and time.
