  1. How’s about reducing the amount of toxic leachate egressing the Auchencarroch landfill site into the local burns and into the Loch and the wider environment.

    Some of our drinking water is extracted from the Loch.

    Official testing reveals that specified maximum pollutants releases have over the last three years exceeded the specified limits.

    Toxins from landfill leaks are known worldwide as a cause of ill health and cancers.
