The Save Loch Lomond campaign team were out in force at the Scottish Pipe Band Championships in Levengrove Park, Dumbarton, yesterday. The women are smiling happily in this picture because they received “a great response” from 99% of people they spoke with in the large crowd of spectators and participants who thoroughly enjoyed their big day out. “No one locally (except two men!) we spoke with wants Flamingo Land – we want to protect our beautiful Loch Lomond from those who wish to turn into a budget holiday resort that will dominate Balloch and make it living nightmare for locals and those who regularly visit.”
