Photographer James Duncan has named this photograph of the Alexandria by-pass as ‘The Road to the Isles’…the A82 Alexandria bypass, Vale of Leven. I’m going to try and go one better and call it ‘The Alexandria Flypast’ because it’s a terrific shot which shows the beautiful Vale all the way north to Ben Lomond via Balloch and Loch Lomond, Conic Hill and the other hills stretching into Stirlingshire and Perthshire. Another requested picture (top of the page) is of Carrochan Crescent, Dalvait housing estate, St. Kessog’s and Balloch Primary School with the new house builds on the former Haldane Primary School.
