A renowned bar in the heart if Glasgow has been crowned as Scotland’s Pub of the Year.

The winner of the prestigious Scottish Bar and Pub awards was unveiled earlier this week.

The awards, now in their 29th year, celebrate the best of the Scottish hospitality industry — with more than 100 venues shortlisted.

The top Sunday Mail Pub of the Year prize went to The Smokin’ Fox in Glasgow. The bar and kitchen, which is situated on the city’s Waterloo Street near Glasgow Central Station, offers a selection of Scottish beers on tap, as well as a varied cocktail menu.
