The 28-year-old is back in his native Colombia and reports in South America say he has been arrested

The Daily Record is reporting that former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been arrested after reportedly leaving a victim fighting for his life after driving while being twice the drink drive limit.

The 28-year-old is playing for Atletico Nacional in his native Colombia where is on loan from Brazilian side Santos. Morelos had a torrid time in Brazil after ending his six-year Ibrox love affair but reports and footage from Colombia show the damage to his vehicle.

And the report states: “Atletico Nacional’s striker, Alfredo Morelos, was driving drunk when he ran over a motorcyclist on the Medellin-Airport road. The local police confirmed that he was arrested with a blood alcohol level of 2. The victim is fighting for his life.”
