INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING? Would you like to become one of Maid Of The Loch – Loch Lomond Steamship Company‘s friendly, enthusiastic volunteers who tell the Paddle Steamer Maid of the Loch’s story to visitors to Loch Lomond?
This is an ideal opportunity for people, age 16+ from all backgrounds, who would like to develop new skills and be part of the Maid’s weekend crew. Full training will be given.

Strapping a couple of Concorde engines on the side of this boat and flying it around the Loch would make as much commercial sense as bringing this boat into service.
Short sailing season, limited passenger capacity, market ticket price., adverse ratio of operating staff to paying passenger, horrendous running costs. Will all bring this money pit project down?
Far better, to operate as a fixed floating facility.
A nice pipe dream, but utterly unaffordable as a sailing concern.
