School children from Rhu and around our communities attending Helensburgh Hermitage School formed an after hours ‘School Dance and Cheerleading Club’
On Friday they entered the Scottish Schools Cheerleading Competition held at Gladiators Arena In East Kilbride. Hermitage Academy took first place in the Novice Division and merited third place in the Cheer Dance Division.
Schools coordinator Martin Caldwell said: “they have put so much time and effort into their training and routine and have really put Hermitage Academy on the map at the recent National event.”
