Police Scotland Argyll & West Dunbartonshire
Driving or riding on today’s roads presents challenges where we could all benefit from developing our motoring skills.
To help motorists navigate these challenges safely and confidently, the road safety partnership between the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM Road Smart), Police Scotland Communities’ Team, Road Policing Unit, PS Safety Cameras and Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, are holding an event in Helensburgh on Sunday 27th April 2025.
From the short commutes to long-distance travel, the event will help motorists navigate Scotland’s Road network safely and enjoyably, regardless of when they passed their car or motorbike test.
Pop along to Hermitage Academy, Helensburgh from 9:30 am and visit the various partner agencies, speak to the emergency services, explore the emergency service vehicles, and watch the interactive video presentations.
Alternatively, register for one of the limited slots with the IAM for a one-to-one session, by clicking this link
We are grateful for the local support from Argyll & Bute Council for the use of Hermitage Academy and to Helensburgh Toyota who are providing refreshments to those working and visiting on the day. We look forward to seeing you there and supporting our communities by improving road safety.
