A £2.5 million project to refurbish Geilston House as a holiday let could begin work next year, it has been revealed.
The meeting heard National Trust for Scotland (NTS) regional manager Ian McLelland provide an update on the restoration project for Geilston House after the organisation had confirmed the investment a week prior.
Chris Moore, chair of the group, says they have been campaigning for some time to bring the house back into use and to realise its potential to contribute to the financial viability of the garden.
