Tributes have been paid to an amateur football player who was part of Rhu Amateur’s famous Scottish Cup-winning team more than 50 years ago.
Paul Robertson died peacefully at home on April 1 at the age of 79, with his wife Ethel and family by his side.
Paul, who was born and brought up in Helensburgh but had been living in Dumbarton, played in the club’s historic 3-1 victory over Penilee United at Hampden in May 1967 as the squad lifted the Scottish Amateur Cup.
