Easter supermarket opening hours 2025 for Aldi, Lidl, Asda, Tesco and M&S

Opening hours can vary on location and we have used the majority, but it you might want to check your local supermarket first before making a trip.

Aldi

Aldi stores will remain open as normal during the Easter bank holiday weekend. The majority of store opening hours are as follows:

• Good Friday: 8am – 10pm
• Easter Sunday: 9am – 8pm
• Easter Monday: 8am – 10pm

Lidl

Similar to its rival, Lidl will also remain open at normal hours during the upcoming weekend, although it will close one hour earlier on Easter Sunday, April 20. The majority of store opening hours are detailed below.

• Good Friday: 8am – 10pm
• Easter Sunday: 8am – 9pm
• Easter Monday: 8am to 10pm

Asda

Asda stores across Scotland can vary with their opening hours, as some larger stores will remain open 24 hours. The supermarket’s petrol stations will be unaffected by varied opening hours and will operate as normal.

• Good Friday: 8am – 10pm, some open 24 hours
• Easter Sunday: 8am – 10pm, some open 24 hours
• Easter Monday: 8am to 10pm, some open 24 hours

Tesco

Tesco’s opening hours do vary on the size of store you are visiting, with its smaller stores mostly closing at 11pm, but some will be open until midnight. Larger stores will mostly close at 10pm this year, and you can find the main times just below.atsApp community!

Morrisons’ smaller Daily stores will be open as normal throughout the Easter bank holiday weekend. Most of its larger stores will also be operating at normal hours as well this year.

M&S

While M&S will be remaining open as usual, it’s hours can vary in each location, with Food Halls and stores often open at different times.
