Don’t be shy about using public transport! This whole week has been a scene from Planes, Trains and Automobiles in addition to feet:
Fly to Glasgow, taxi to hotel
Walk to Glasgow train station, train to Milngavie
Balmaha to Rowardennan hitch hiked five of those miles, then walked to Inverarnan. Cab to Crianlarich (no rooms at Inverarnan)
Skipped Inverarnan to Crianlarich and walked Crianlarich to Bridge of Orchy
Bused back to Tyndrum for the night
Hitched a ride back to the Bridge of Orchy the next day. Walked to Glencoe ski resort. Bus to Glencoe Visitor Centre, taxi to Clachaig Inn for our stay. (No rooms near Kingshouse)
Hitched back to Glencoe resort to pick up the Way.
Walked to Kinlochleven and Fort William like regular Walkers.
Taxi from Ft William to our BNB (Campfield House). Taxi back to the train station at FW and now we get to ride the train to Mallaig, the ferry to Armadale and the bus to Broadford on the Isle of Skye.
La la la connect the dots!
