What’s on Events in Helensburgh, Dumbarton Glasgow, Scotland …
A variety of acts from Hermitage Academy, local Primary schools and the local community including bands, poets, and dancers have been revealed to be the lucky finalists chosen to take to the stage for Helensburgh’s Got Talent on Thursday, June 19th 6:30pm at Hermitage Academy doors open at 6pm.
In running order, the ten finalists are: band “Spectrum”; singer Anna Hitchell; dancer Olivia Moffat; a junior followed by a senior ensemble from Helensburgh Stringbabies and Violin lessons ; singer Chris Forth; a dance from the Margaret Rose School of Dance; singer Taylor Willis and Hermitage Academy drumming group “The Bucket”.
The judges include local singer Kirsty McLaren, Donna Hicks from Save The Tower Arts Centre, and chair of Helensburgh Oratorio Choir Alicia Tindall. All our judges have experience in dance, theatre, music and more from many years of performing.
Rotary Club of Lomond will be presenting the prizes.
This will be a fun family event aimed to celebrate and encourage the upcoming talent in the town.
Tickets are £3 on the door and there will also be a snack shop (cash only) doors open at 6pm.
The event has been organised by Helensburgh Community Council – Music in the Square initiative with support from Hermitage Academy music department.
