This 2hr session will prepare attendees for the practical element of the full-day Podcasting course and ensure they get the most from it. Aimed at those who have never edited audio or video on their computer before, it provides supervised guidance on downloading and installing the editing software, installing a phone recorder app and transferring files.

Places are limited and being funded by Scottish Union Learning and the Scottish Government for NUJ members in Scotland and will be allocated on a ‘first come’ basis. Student members are only eligible for places if they have a part time income (not necessarily from journalism).
