Plastic Free Helensburgh: Strange things on the shore

A happy gathering of Helensburgh volunteers this weekend, getting blown around by the wind but at least the rain stayed off. The litter wasn’t too bad on the beach but we still managed to find some large or unusual items, as well as filling 6 bags between us. 28 volunteers removed 36kg of litter. We will try and arrange a skip and the tractor for the seaweed left on the beach.  Our next litterpick is up in Churchill on 12th July 10am.
