St Margaret of Scotland Hospice
Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Elaine, Grace, and Helen from the Hermitage Retired Teachers Group to the Hospice. Their kindness, friendship, and infectious smiles truly brightened our day! During their visit, these incredible ladies handed over a generous donation of £1,000 to support our Hospice. This heartfelt gesture will enable us to continue providing compassionate, personalised care to our patients and their families every day of the year. We are deeply grateful for their support and for the difference it will make in the lives of those we serve.
Elaine, Grace, and Helen, your visit was a wonderful reminder of the power of friendship, the impact of a life well-lived, and the importance of supporting one another through all of life’s moments. We look forward to welcoming you back soon and to continuing to be inspired by your remarkable spirit and generosity. Until then, keep enjoying those coffee dates and spreading joy wherever you go! Elaine Ferguson replied — I’m Elaine from the group. Can I please point out again that we are only three members of a larger group who quietly raise funds all year by having coffee and the odd lunch together and adding to the funds box we use. We are all retired. It just happened to be the three of us who represented our HRT group. Thankyou for all the wonderful work you do. There is such a special and calming feeling when you enter the door. We are so happy to be able to support your wonderful organisation.
