Helensburgh Community Council
Today (4th July) is the day for the substantive hearing of our Judicial Review at the Court of Session.
At 10am, our legal team, solicitors Gilson Gray and advocate Roddy Dunlop KC, pictured right, will represent us against Argyll and Bute Council in front of judge Lord Ericht. The legal documents have been submitted in advance, and it comes down to how the advocates present the respective arguments to the judge.A few of Helensburgh Community Council members will be in attendance to see the arguments being presented, and then we expect the judge will provide a written decision in the next few weeks.
We would not have reached this stage without your assistance – thank you to everyone who has contributed to our legal and court fees. We still have a way to go to meet the total required to ensure that the case completes, so any and all further donations are gratefully received. Thank you again.
