ESSENTIAL RESURFACING ON THE A82 AT RENTON
COMMENCES SUNDAY 10TH AUGUST 2025
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A82 at Renton, between Renton Road and Cardross Road from Sunday 10th August until Friday 15th August 2025.
This work will require overnight closures of the northbound A82 between Lomondgate Roundabout and Stoneymollan Roundabout between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night of the works, as well as lane closures in this location on Tuesday 12th August and Wednesday 13th August between the hours of 6am and 11am.
During the overnight closures, traffic will be directed to exit the A82 at Lomondgate Roundabout and follow the A813 through Bonhill then the A811 to re-join the A82 northbound at Stoneymollan Roundabout. This diversion will take motorists an additional 8 minutes.
All traffic management will be removed by 6am on Friday 15th August 2025.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway in this location.
