WOW what can I say, that was some weekend!
June, you are a wonder, the organisation, the energy, how you pulled everything together is beyond me!
To Vivien Dance I would not have managed to keep calm and get the road closed, thank you for the loan of so much equipment and all of the festive lighting elf brigade
To the staff, you made me so proud of our little team, you worked your socks off and no matter what kept smiling.
To all the customers and past staff that came to enjoy and ended up helping out, I can’t thank you enough, a special mention to Liam, Jim Schultz, Simon, Fiona, Angie, Ashleigh and your pal (sorry didn’t get your name) Zak & Fraser.
How you all cleared the road on Saturday night was brilliant.

Later, SascoArt published a recent drawing commissioned to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Ashton. I now know every brick like the back of my hand!
A really great weekend, town was abuzz. Would be good to see more street events like that in future for special occasions. Kept me entertained while scraping paint off the shop!
