I definitely needed these last couple of months off from them. The sheer exhaustion had taken control. We have so much other stuff on that these were just becoming a chore and yet this is where I have been told I excel.
Tonight I was more than happy with each plate of food I put out, the way it was cooked and the plating and I hope everyone that came along thought the same.
It’s so difficult finding a happy medium with everything we do as we just do so much! But lately life has been better as we have (almost) finally found a happy medium with work and life and I’m loving it.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not without the long hours and stress especially at weekends but when is having two businesses not!
Our next bistro night is next Saturday featuring smash burgers! This however is fully booked.
I will be looking at dates and getting menus together for September so keep an eye out.
