Searches are ongoing in the River Leven at Dumbarton following a report of a woman entering the water.
Officers received the report around 9pm on Friday, 19 September, 2025. Multi-agency searches were carried out involving the Air Support Unit, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and HM Coastguard, however, the woman was not traced.
Further searches are taking place today, Saturday, 20 September, with assistance from the Air Support Unit.
The woman is described as white, 6ft tall, with long brown hair and a cross tattoo on her left shoulder. She is believed to have been wearing dark jeans, a dark top and black trainers with white soles.
