Officers injured after crash in Helensburgh

TWO police officers were injured today after being involved in a crash in Helensburgh.

The officers were attending a call in a marked police car on West King Street at around 1.55pm on Friday, November 7.

After the crash, which saw the police car badly damaged after it hit a wall, the officers were subsequently checked over by paramedics at the scene.

Police Scotland has confirmed that there were no other vehicles involved.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.55pm on Friday, November 7, a marked police car attending a call was involved in a crash on West King Street in Helensburgh.

“Two police officers sustained minor injuries and were checked by paramedics at the scene.

“No one else was injured and no other vehicles were involved.”
