Sharing the Stories of the River Leven
We’re excited to invite you to a drop-in event at Dumbarton Library on Friday 14th November 2-4pm. The session is run by Lateral North in partnership with Library Services, who are creating new digital experiences for the upcoming Children’s Library inspired by the river.
Through projection, augmented reality, virtual reality and digital games, the sights, sounds and textures of nature will be reimagined for children using the stories of local people. The aim is to create immersive sensory experiences that connect the past, present and future of the River Leven. This project is funded by the Strathleven Foundation.
This map-based session is for adults who live or work around the Leven and care about its history, heritage, geography, nature or biodiversity. It’s a chance to share your stories and help shape the project.
