It was back to my Alma Mater – New College, University of Edinburgh – for Christmas Lunch. The Rainy Hall was packed, lunch was lovely, and it was good to catch up with our candidates studying there. We then moved along to the Martin Hall for a Carol Service with performances from the excellent New College Choir. I preached on Extravagant Love as seen in our Christmas story. A mince pie and mulled juice rounded off a most pleasant afternoon.Thank you for the kind hospitality.
