St Margaret of Scotland Hospice

We are absolutely thrilled and humbled to share the inspiring story of Megan Hart, who recently conquered Ben Macdui, as the culmination of her epic Munro adventures.
Over the course of several years, Megan has tirelessly scaled the peaks of Scotland, from the Arrochar Alps to the Southern Highlands. With each summit reached, she drew closer to her ultimate goal, Ben Nevis.
What makes Megan’s achievement even more remarkable is that she chose to support St Margaret of Scotland Hospice on her final challenge. We are incredibly honoured and grateful to be the proud beneficiaries of her wonderful donation, which ‘peaked’ at an astonishing £5,850!
When Megan visited us for a picture and a cuppa, we were overwhelmed by her kindness, spirit, and dedication.
We asked her why she chose to fundraise for our Hospice, and her response touched our hearts deeply.
Megan shared, “The Hospice is very close to my heart, it plays a significant part in the local community and beyond. So many families rely on your support, and I knew that committing to fundraise for my final climb would give every step a purpose and ensure that my challenge was completed.”
On behalf of everyone at our Hospice, we extend our deepest gratitude to Megan for her extraordinary efforts and for choosing to support our mission. Your kindness and generous support will have a lasting impact on the patients and families we serve at St Margaret of Scotland Hospice.
