St Margaret of Scotland Hospice — Major Contribution to Our Building Appeal
Our heartfelt thanks to our long standing friend and supporter, The W M Mann Foundation for an incredibly generous donation of £100,000 towards our Building Appeal.
Their commitment to our Hospice goes far beyond funding and it reflects years of kindness, partnership, and belief in the care we provide for our community. This remarkable contribution brings us another step closer to creating the future ready Hospice our patients and families deserve.
Delighted to accept the cheque on behalf of the Hospice, Sister Rita says, “It is with profound appreciation that we acknowledge the generous support of The WM Mann Foundation over many years, and their love and dedication to our Hospice has been incredible. Their continued commitment to St Margaret of Scotland Hospice has played a vital role in sustaining our mission and extending compassionate care to those who need it most.
Their generosity has not only provided essential resources but has also served as a source of encouragement to all of us involved in the Building Appeal. Without the steadfast support of benefactors such as The W M Mann Foundation and our community, our ambition for the full refurbishment of our Specialist Palliative Care Centre, the St Joseph’s Ward would not be realised.”
Sarah Smith of The W M Mann Foundation who was delighted to visit with fellow Trustee Bruce Mann, said, “The W M Mann Foundation was pleased to assist with the needs of the Hospice. Our family has benefited first hand from the extraordinary compassionate care provided by Sister Rita and her Team. We want the facilities of the Hospice to be as modern and as comfortable as possible for patients and staff, and we look forward to seeing the finished project”.
From everyone here at St Margaret of Scotland Hospice we would like to extend our sincerest thank you to The W M Mann Foundation for making this extraordinary gift towards our Building Appeal.
