Yesterday evening we visited the Central Gurdwara in Glasgow at the invitation of Ravinder Kaur Nijjar, the Sikh representative on the Scottish Religious Leaders Forum. We were joined by the church’s Interfaith Manager Mirella Yandoli. We had a fascinating time learning about Sikh history, hearing about the daily life of the Gurdwara and observing worship. We had the opportunity to join the young people’s class and to bring them the greetings of the General Assembly. Our evening ended with a meal. While there was a dahl curry option it was pizza and chips night for the young ones. Many thanks to Ravinder and all at the Gurdwara for the warm welcome and kind hospitality.
