SCOTTISH LABOUR IS THE ONLY CHOICE FOR CHANGE, SAYS LABOUR CANDIDATE BAILLIE

John Swinney and Lord Offord – neither is fit to run Scotland, according to Dumbarton candidate  Jackie Baillie.

Scottish Labour claimed victory after the BBC Debate Night Leaders Special last night.

Labour Deputy Leader Jackie Baillie said:  “Anas Sarwar was the clear winner in tonight’s debate, and it is obvious that he is ready to be the next First Minister.

“John Swinney and the SNP have had 20 years in government, and they have made a mess of things – give Anas Sarwar and Scottish Labour five years, and we will fix it.

“John Swinney looked rattled and out of touch as he tried to defend his government’s indefensible record on the NHS, housing, energy, and more.

“Meanwhile, the Reform con has continued to fall apart before our eyes with another dismal performance from the hapless Lord Offord.”

“It’s clearer than ever that if you want change on May 7, Scottish Labour is the only choice.

“Only Scottish Labour can beat the SNP, and only Anas Sarwar can replace John Swinney as First Minister.

“Together we can elect a Scottish Labour government that will get the basics right and deliver a better future for Scotland.”
