When, after the Sunday Show, in which Màiri McAllan refused to take responsibility for the SNP’s failures on housing, Scottish Labour Finance spokesperson Michael Marra said, “Màiri McAllan and the SNP are in denial about the housing emergency they have created.
“People across Scotland are paying the price for the SNP’s failures on housing – from the families struggling with eyewatering housing costs to the 10,000 children without a home of their own.

“No matter how Màiri McAllan tries to spin it, the SNP’s record speaks for itself – they raided funding for Affordable Housing, let housebuilding collapse, and cut local government to the bone.
“The SNP is utterly complacent and out of touch, but this is not as good as it gets.
“A Scottish Labour government will fix the SNP’s mess and get Scotland building, delivering 125,000 new homes.
“On May 7, Scotland can vote for change and deliver a better future for our country by voting for Scottish Labour.”
