Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful fireraising in the O’Hare area of Bonhill.
The incident took place around 3.30am on Saturday, 23 May, 2026, when a wheelie bin was set alight. The fire spread to an adjoining property, before it was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Detective Constable Martyn Cairns said: “Our inquiries into this deliberate fire are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who was within the O’Hare area at the time of the incident to get in touch.
“I would also encourage residents in the area to check any private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage, as it could assist our inquiries.”
