BBC Scotland investigative journalist Mark Daly, who cut his journalistic teeth in West Dunbartonshire, has been nominated in the Amnesty Media Awards.
He was first for specialising in complex, long-form investigations for TV.
Mark said: “It was an honour to be nominated among such incredible company at last night’s Amnesty Media Awards, and humbling to see the work being done all over the world by brave colleagues.
“Human rights horrors also happen at home, though, as pointed out by Vick Hope, who presented our category, so we were honoured to collect the award for our Disclosure, Kids on the Psychiatric Ward.
