West Dunbartonshire Council marked Armed Forces Day at the weekend by paying tribute to its military community as part of the global celebration.
The event featured a parade through the town centre, with Armed Forces & Reserves, Cadets & Youth, Veterans & Support Groups taking part.
Upon reaching Church Street, Dumbarton, a salute was taken by Jill Young MBE, Lord Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire, alongside Provost Karen Murray Conaghan. This was followed by a short commemorative service in the civic space, which included hymns, a formal order of service, and a moment for reflection and thanks.
