Rohl is heading to Austria, with Rangers set to receive around £1.5m in compensation
Danny Rohl has left Rangers to join RB Salzburg after less than a year in charge at the club.
Meanwhile, the Ibrox side are finalising a three-year contract for Hearts head coach Derek McInnes to become their manager.
McInnes is poised to take over at Ibrox, having led Hearts to second in the Scottish Premiership last season. The Tynecastle side will receive £400,000 compensation.
Meanwhile, Rohl is heading to Austria, with Rangers set to receive around £ 1.5m in compensation as he departs after less than a year in the hotseat.
The Ibrox board had identified former player McInnes as the candidate to replace the German coach, who was hired in October.
McInnes will be reunited with ex-Hearts captain Lawrence Shankland at Ibrox after the talismanic striker arrived in Glasgow for free.
Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh said: “I’d like to thank Danny for his service and commitment to Rangers.
“He and his staff put in a significant amount of hard work during his time in charge, which we are greatly appreciative of. We wish them the best of luck moving forward.”
Salzburg confirmed Rohl signed a three-year deal with the club, while Rangers said first-team performance manager Sascha Lense and first-team analyst Tristan Steiner have left Ibrox.
