Emergency teams searched a waterfall deep pool at a beauty spot near Loch Lomond after a woman was reported in difficulty in the water.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland were called to the Falls of Falloch near Crainlarich at about 22:45 on Friday. Killin Fire Station said water rescue units from Oban and Stirling were sent to the scene.
Officers closed the nearby car park and urged visitors to avoid the area while search operations continued on Saturday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services are at the scene, and water searches are being carried out.”

UPDATE: The body of a woman has been recovered at a beauty spot near Crianlarich.
A major search operation involving police, ambulance crews, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was launched on Friday night after a woman was reported to be in difficulty in the water at around 10.45 pm. Water searches were carried out.
The body of a woman was recovered around 11.45 am on Saturday, July 11.
Officers say the death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.
“The woman’s next of kin have been made aware.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained, but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
Her parents, Samantha and Ruaraidh, paid tribute to Freya on Tuesday.
They said: “Beloved by family, friends and the wider community, Freya was a truly beautiful soul whose kindness knew no bounds.
