Amey South West Trunk Roads
FULL WEEKEND CLOSURE
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the southbound A898 Erskine Bridge from 8 pm on Friday 7th August until 6 am on Monday 10th August 2026.
This work will require a full weekend closure of the southbound carriageway and northbound Lane 2 throughout this period.
Signed diversion routes will be in place for southbound motorway and non-motorway traffic.
Motorway traffic will be directed via the A82 Great Western Road, joining the M8 at Junction 17 and continuing to Junction 30.
Non-motorway traffic will be directed via the A82, Crow Road, the Clyde Tunnel, Helen Street and Paisley Road West to rejoin via the A726.
All traffic management will be removed by 6 am on Monday 10th August 2026.Full details of this project can be found below
