Police Scotland is appealing for information following a serious crash on the A82 near The Falls of Falloch, north of Loch Lomond.
Around 11.50 am on Wednesday, 5 August, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving a white Peugeot 3008 and a turquoise Toyota Yaris on the A82 between Crainlarich and Tarbet, near The Falls of Falloch.
Emergency services attended, and the man and woman from one car were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
The man and woman from the second car were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to what were described as serious injuries.
The road was closed to allow for inquiries to be carried out and re-opened around 6.55 pm.
Constable Gary Barkham said: “Our Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone with dash cam footage or who may have seen either car before the crash to get in touch.”
