Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
On #WorldRangerDay, at Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, we’re celebrating the dedication and professionalism of our Ranger Service. This year’s theme – Guardians of a Changing Planet – feels especially close to home, recognising the work our Rangers do in helping the millions who visit the National Park each year enjoy it safely and responsibly, while navigating shifting weather patterns and growing pressures on nature.On any given day, they could be inspiring young people through school and nursery outreach, supporting safe and responsible access across the Park, carrying out essential conservation work, or helping to respond to emergencies when people and nature need them most.
They also play a key role in helping people understand the beauty and importance of the National Park’s landscapes. Their passion for nature – and for sharing it – sits at the heart of everything they do.
And none of this would be possible without the people they work alongside. Colleagues, partner agencies, volunteers and local communities all play a vital part in supporting our Rangers and ensuring the National Park remains a place that’s protected, welcoming and enjoyed by everyone.
