It’s hard to believe it’s been six years since we lost Nobel Prize winner John Hume — a giant of peace, a relentless champion of civil rights, and, along with his wonderful wife, Pat, a Derry icon.
John didn’t just imagine a better Ireland — he worked every day to build it. His courage, compassion and conviction continue to inspire those of us who follow in his footsteps. In a world still crying out for peace and justice, his legacy has never been more relevant.
We remember John with love, respect and deep gratitude.
